Texture hack help

So i wanna put already made texture hacks into brawl to spice things up, but im having a little trouble understanding some things.
1. When I changed Samus's and ZSS's textures, they weren't changed into the other texture when I used the final smash, for example if I had a brown Samus and I used the final Smash it would change ZSS the the orginal teal color instead of the hacked brownish color. Why does that happen and how can I fix it?
2. Same thing with Zelda/Sheik and Pokemon Trainer how can I get all the hacked textures to appear when I want to change person/pokemon?
3. Last question: I was looking up texture hacks for G&W when I read that I changes all of his textures what does that mean?

1: You need both the PCS and PAC files for Samus and Zero Suit Samus if you expect your Samus / ZSS textures to remain in tact.

2: Same as 1.

3: Mr. G&W only has one texture slot, which is FitGameWatch00.  His colors are controlled by CLR0 files, unlike all the other characters.  Also, when using Mr. G&W's Emerald texture, ALL of his color slots will have the Emerald effects (which explains the notes for the Mr. G&W hacks involving his Emerald texture).

Oh ok thanks I needed that especially for the G&W explanation do u know any good sites to find complete or corresponding textures to changers?
and how many pacs are there? are there 4 pokemon trainer 2 for zelds/sheik 2 for Samus/ZSS or just 1

Regarding color slot PAC files, there are 6 for Bowser, Zelda, Sheik, Samus, and Zero Suit Samus; 5 for Pokemon Trainer, Charizard, Squirtle, and Ivysaur; 12 for Wario; 1 for Giga Bowser and Wario-Man.
