i remember there being textures for items such as snakes grenades, cypher, etc. where did they all get moved to? i i found a couple, but i really remember there were more.

Basic items are stored inside common3.pac.

and where would common3 be stored? i looked in all the folders inside pf, didn't see it

Just search for the textures that you want. Also, common3.pac will be inside the folder, system.

ah ok gotcha, mine is common5.pac. could you tell me where in the common5 the equipment stuff are?

If you're talking about the equipment that the characters have, which aren't in common3.pac, they're stored in their MotionEtc PAC files. You won't find that stuff in common5.
For example, Yoshi's egg texture is in FitYoshiMotionEtc.pac, so you'd have to go there to modify it. Of course, that only affects the egg texture for Yoshi's Egg Lay and Egg Throw moves.
