Stage Texture Hacks Working? Definitely not. Frustration? You Betcha!

Hey everyone, I've been working on getting stage texture hacks to work but unfortunately no results. I created stage\melee in the pf folder and put in STGFINAL.PAC and STGBATTLEFIELD.PAC and STGOLDIN.PAC (etc etc) but none of the new textures appear over stages. What's the stupid obvious thing I'm forgetting?

Are you even using any codes?  You need the File Patch code to do this.
