How does that work exactly? I picked out one that I liked from the vault, but I don't know how to use it. Can someone help me out with this?

XDD sry... didn't think I'd be bumping into you so soon XDD wow... anyways... you need help with the naming I see...
(not worrying about thp names) which movie would you like to replace...
EDIT: I think I may have found the one you want... which is a WIN ^_^
OPMovie.thp
a few others (if you just want to watch them) are:
HowtoPlay.thp 2006_E3.thp Conference.thp SnakeMovie.thp SonicMovie.thp

the thp file is the video itself... your movie folder should be empty (if you created it) where exactly did you check??

If you're talking about the opening video, you'll need to use Riivolution (although you probably already know this).
Put it in pf > movie and name it OPmovie.thp.

you'll need to use Riivolution ORLY... O.O what for?? lemme guess... video timing?? or getting rid of the begining where the chars scroll across the screen etc... aka sc_title.pac

No, the FPC doesn't support THP's... only Riivolution does.
You'll need Riivolution to use this movie in Brawl.
You'll need Riivolution for sc_title.pac, too, I think...? Maybe not, actually. I wouldn't really know.

I was just gonna create the movie folder and put the movie in it (renamed to OPMovie.thp of course)
I don't see why that wouldn't work... of course though if the thp is not the same length, it will either loop or cut when or until the stop stop command hits...

Are you using the FPC? The FPC doesn't support replacement for all files... such as sound effects for other things like that.
If the THP is shorter, than it'll just be stuck on the last frame until enough time has passed. If it's longer, though, it'll probably freeze.

Yeah, FPC (File Patch Code) is using Phantom Wing's Ocarina code with Gecko.

There are different ways of using B-, but if you're using the FPC, then you can't use THP's.
