Basic noob Questions

So, basically I just want to know how all this hacks works. I don't want to know how to make my own Hack, I just want to know how I can get the Hacks of the Brawl Vault into my Game. So I got the hacked Wii and the .iso file of SSBB.

What do I have to do next? Do I need a special loader? I just need a noob friendly explanation. Thank you

I am no expert either But:
1 trade the iso for a disc (unless you are A thief and penny pincher)anyways you will need extensive hacking to do that anyways
2find downloads for homebrew channel or whatever loader you choose.
3 place programs on wii and gecko os on a sd card (downloads for all of the above are on meowmix wiki)
4get your codes
5place your codes in the corect directory (find the fighter folder, look in pf in the private folder in your sd) apply the file patch code on it place in your wii boot brawl through homebrew and you are set.

i had a very hard time with this as well. first thing that you need to do it get the Homebrew using an SDcard formated to FAT32( i thing FAT16 works too, just do 32 just in case and use that along with Priiloader to delete only the PROPER ISO's. and do the PROPER patches other wise your wii may brick

once you get that done you need GeckoOS. youll need the game configuration settings and a file of codes. i can see if i can load all mine up and give them to you. it has everything youll need

that's really just a patch to give gecko some extra options...
(that was when I was a half noob at this stuff)

So, I think I still didn't get it right.
I got the Gecko OS, made some new folders and put the Cloud texture in :



Than I got this codes:

GCT Code File [RSBP01 --- PAL Brawl (Unrestriced camera, disable custom stages and all codes needed for file replacement to work)

And placed it on a codes folger as described.

When i launch the game with Gecko OS it says codes loaded and stuff but if I chose Ike he still is Ike and not Cloud, lol

So, what did I do wrong? Do I have to configure something in Gecko first?
Is there something to activate the codes?
Or maybe I just placed the folders wrong?

i'd just say that ur using the wrong codes or the wrong folder, if ur pal, ur using correct codes but wrong folder, it should be rsbp instead of rsbe.
if ur ntsc the folder is right but the codes are wrong, and u should look for ntsc codes, i hope this helped.

the folders are and must be exact
Private/Wii/APP/RSBE/pf/Fighter/Ike

otherwise it wont see it at all

theres also a code file, configuration file. i can just opload an empty version of what i have. it has to say RSBE01 FOUND. APPLYING or something like that. you have to make sure it mentions RSBE.

Ok here it is. If you need to just get a temporary version of WinRar to open it up. everything you need is in there if you did everything right
