My last guess would be the SD card got corrupted somehow, although I wonder how it affects only that specific stage...

Sorry I wasn't able to come to a conclusion. Have never seen this happen before, and it still sounds very strange.

It's not the SD card, I tried another one... Ugh, stuff like this always happens to me. It seems technology just hates me. ASH doesn't work right for me, neither do indexed textures... And half of my custom music goes all glitchy halfway through the song. >_>

OK if these dont work, nothing will.

Re format your SD card (i cant remember which one, but you have to format it to a certain type, IIRC it was FAT?) and make the nesecary folders for the gct file and gecko OS. With those being the only things on your SD card, now load your brawl and play a match. After it is over, try some custom music.

If that doesnt work, try deleting your save file (back it up), and trying custom music on a fresh save file (make sure you do the first method first though).

I'll try the first thing, but I can't back up my save file because I'm on Wii Menu 4.1, which block the unlock copy-protected save files exploit. =/

How did you make the brstm?Tell me all the steps. The way i make brstm's are i just use datarions gui.Plus custom music works perfectly on mah wii.Might be(99.999999999 chance not)be cus of your system menu. There are rumors of brawl hacking isn't the best on menus over 4.0.I'm personally WAS on 4.0 so i couldn't mod the wii until bannerbomb came out and i downgraded back to 3.2.
