Is there a way to reduce the filesize of an image without reducing the dimensions so I can keep the filesize of sc_selmpa.pac at or below the original.

If there isnt a way, how bout a way of compressing sc_selmap.pac?

The file, sc_selmap.pac, is already compressed.  All that I can say is that the quality level of some of the textures do affect the file's file size.

It is possible to reduce the quality of a texture part without changing the size dimensions of its image; Ex.: Reduce the texture part's colors.

Less memory than the original means that it'll work.  It's only when the file uses more memory than its unedited counterpart would you be in trouble.
