Could you perhaps try to make it look like Echo Tracer, Mind Slicer, Soul Blast, Or Bastard Sword from Dawn of a New World? I have a model from the actual game you can use for reference. http://www.mediafire.com/?mv4ukk4unm1liqaThat zip file has all but one of Emil's swords(for some reason it refused to fix it) properly renamed and "fixed" for viewing in brawlbox ^+^ Hell, it'd be more badass if you could get the actual model from the game to work  X 9000! with some hex u should be able to make them work, maybe even without hexing...
they are already mdl0s, so it shouldnt be too hard...
i think u just need to make the bone index, or ID or idk what the same as the one from the fireball...

Well, I've tried replacing ikes second sword graphic with a model from the game, and all I got from that was the god forsaken beeeeeep of doom >=D I've also tried replacing ganondorfs sword artical with one of those swords. lol the texture appears between his legs in 2D for the duration of his taunt lol Buuut...uh...WackAlpacka has a vid on injecting models from other games into brawl now @_@;; Sweetness, maybe I'll attempt this myself. But if all else fails, do you think you could manage the Bastard or Mytheral Sword? (from vertexing the graphic lol) |

fireball is a model, so it can be replaced by another model... i cant vertex a fireball into a sword...¬¬ what i was saying is vertexing ike's sword and replacing fireball model with ike's sword ^^ look, here u can see its a model^^ |

That's what I meant
Either
A: Vertex Ikes second sword model (since his normal blade is part of his model) into one of emil's cooler swords, then replace the fireball with that.
or
B: Just figure out how to get the sword from the actual game to work (replacing the fireball of course)
I'll try B myself later today to see if I can get it to work.
I have a feeling though that the fireball is just gonna behave like it normally does :l either that or freeze the game lol

of course it will behave as a normal fire ball, u just need to ask some PSAer how to make his fireball have NO HITBOXES and edit his animation to be static, that way u can use the haveN or throwN bone for the sword's hitboxes ^^

Eh, so I tried replacing the fireball, but blegh, I got the dredded beeeeep of doom when the match started.
I may just end up vertexing ganondorfs sword and coloring it ^+^
Or better yet, port luigi over to ganondorf and do it that way >=D

you did a good job on the elephant over dedede, is dedede easy to patch? because im tempted to remake my Crystal King vertex. it has got to be one of my most recognized.

actually, as long as u dont mess with his mouth, it only takes a double patch to fix everything, i needed a lot of bone edit to make his ears right (yes, his ears is/are his mouth...)
