I have a smashbros_sound.brsar (from the brawl file's in the brawl vault) and when i open it in brawlbox and goto a sound it will not play, can someone help?

    You need to use Smashbox 0.57 (Smashbox was it's original name) to preview sounds

    I can tell you how to play sounds in brbx...
    I do it all the time...

    open the brsar and you should see 2 columns with data in them.
    the first is of course the browser
    but the 2nd (row2) is the list of internal or library sounds/music.

    in col1:
    open 'snd' (not 'SND'), and open 'vc' or 'se'
    (se = Sound Effects, vc = Vioce)
    open a folder and click on one of the sounds

    in col2, row1:
    loook at the number in the field
    (memorise that number)

    now click on the brsar file (in brbx)
    and find that number in the index on col2, row2

    export that file as *name*.rwsd

    open that rwsd in brbx
    and open the 'Audio' folder
    you can now play any one of those sounds.
