Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I was wondering if there is any way to use Gecko Codes without using the Homebrew channel. I mean like putting them on the sd card and using them through the Stack Smash method. Iv looked around but everything talks about applying them with the channel. My wii isnt hacked for it and i would really like to know if there is another way.

I guess you could load Gecko using the Smash Stack method.

Hi Weyard, If you really don´t want to softmod your Wii, use Riivolution. I think there was a way to use it without softmoding your wii. I never tried using it without homebrew myself but here is a link to a youtube vid where someone used it for mariokart

There is a Gecko OS .wad, but if you have versions 4.2, or 4.3, you can't install wads.

How do you compile them into the RSBE01.gct? Is there a program that you download that does it on your computer?

My mind is like lightning, one brilliant flash and it's gone... Remember brawlbox 0.64b DOES NOT WORK! download .63 or under or it will give you problems later. Download to .63 modset: http://www.mediafire.com/?ud5s402d8u6ad6k#

i downloaded the program and put the codes into the rsbe01.gct but they dont do anything in game. Do you have to activate them somewhere else?

Well it doesnt. I used the Independent Pokemon Engine Code and the Samus Final Smash Transformation Cancel Code. I put them into the gct. using the codemgr.exe. You guys just keep saying the same thing over and over and its really not helping.....
Do you have to checkmark them or something somewhere to activate them? Because they are not working in-game.

You have to checkmark them in codemgr.exe then export it as a .gct file and put it in a folder called codes on the root of your SD card
