Original and Hacked Character Coexisting?

[chaoticfox]

I was wondering how one goes about changing the character that gets replaced by a full character hack (PSA, vertex, etc.) Is it a simple name change and a different folder, or is it more complicated than that?

I just wanna make the Shadow Final coexist with Sonic.

MUCH more complicated. Complicated to the point that you most likely do not want to mess with it at all.

How unfortunate... Any ideas how mastaklo did it, or did he take the super-complicated route?

He knows 1000 times more than I do, so yeah he probably did.
