    It also means we could possiblt make our own models in 3DSMAX, rig them, then import them into Brawl.

    THINK ABOUT IT!...

    Oh wait. Then everyone will bring their own characters into Brawl...

    OH ****!!!
    Well yeah.
    But I do hope either someone with experience will do it for me or a very good tutorial on this will come up.

    Just to clear things up guys, making a character from scratch isn't the easiest thing to do and it is even harder to make it look better than crap. Not to mention it takes about a million times more time than vertex hacking AND if you use your own skeleton you will be remaking EVERY animation on the character you are importing over (to avoid re doing animations you can use the brawl skeletons, but if your character is of different proportions this can be really tedious, you cannot move the brawl bones or else they will be distorted during an animation).

    So this doesn't mean there will be a flood of characters being made (stages are probably going to be spammed though).

    My question was models from other games, or even models for example the game itself, like TABUU!

    Or say I get someone from say MVC3, I take their model, rip the bones out(Via 3DS max) and place the bones from a brawl character on top of them by using that model to replace the model of said character.

    Yeah, something like the Naruto import model from the BrawlVault, ripping out the original boneset and replacing it with Ike's boneset.
    Because the model already is rigged, it just doesn't have the right boneset for the animations.

    Can't wait for people to crack the MvC3 model format, meanwhile I'll take a jab at Kefka...

    awesome if that is true the first Model i will try to get in Brawl is Vegeta from DBZ BT2,3

    yes i got the DBZ BT3 .iso and the Model is inside that .iso so i just have to find it anyway i have see some texture hacks for DBZ BT3 for wii so i think that is possible to find it

    if it can´t be converted or i can´t rip the model out of the game i think i found afew other Models that can be converted to Dae of Vegeta+many others from DB/Z/GT

    If all wii games used bress we could get models from games like Sonic and the Black Knight or Epic Mickey. But we can't cuz those games don't use bress.
