versat13 edits videos on a professional level. I almost wonder if he is one sometimes.
Speaking of which, BlackJax, are you planning on a career in game development? Some other field of compsci?

versat is good at editing videos.... so it's a mix of truth and lies. Still entertaining, and more fitting than fatalities. I think it's false, because the characters don't look exactly like they do in brawl if you look closely enough, but that would be cool if we could do that, minus the blood.

I make YouTube videos, SM64 hacks, Brawl Hacks (obviously), NSMBW hacks, and GoldenEye 007 Mods. I also have a short attention span and tend to switch around a lot and put things on hold. But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.

Yes I am. Awesome. Hope to play something you worked on someday. Maybe I'll even see you around.2: MP3 or that other really good sound format that I can't remember for brstm importing?
libertyernie's BRSTM program already supports MP3s...actually MP3s have been supported since BionicSonic's old method. Why would you use BrawlBox to make BRSTMs? No batch processing, no volume or sample rate adjustment, no anything.

3: Auto Shadow-model maker :3 would be useful, dunno how you do it though :/ Do you mean that BrawlBox would just make a copy of the imported model and make it low-vertexed? That would be interesting, but I'm not sure how BJ would do that. But custom shadow models would make imports a bit better, I've been wondering about making SM64 Mario & Luigi (And the otehr SM64 Imports I'm making) have their shadows be a circle, like how they are in SM64, I just didn't get to it when releasing the one-slot.

Can you explain a little bit more? Well was he talking about the shadow models found in the FitCharacter0X.pac? Or was he talking about something else?

Not those shadow models ._. I'm talkin bout those shadow models in the FitCharacter.pac/pcs that obviously fix the lighting and whatnot of an import.

We already have enough Shadows, we don't need a program that automatically makes them.

Not those shadow models ._. I'm talkin bout those shadow models in the FitCharacter.pac/pcs that obviously fix the lighting and whatnot of an import. So I was right! But that would be cool, and it would be the final touches of an import, the only problem I see with the shadows is exactly how low-vertexed they are, even SM64 Mario's low poly version has more vertexes then that, and that's saying somthing if you've seen the low-poly version. (If you haven't, his arms, legs, shoes, hands, and head are boxes, that should explain enough ) Because of this, making a custom shadow model could easily go over the size limit. So BJ, we'll be able to edit DDD, Nana, and a few other PSA's with this version right? One thing that could make moveset's cooler is if we could make a character do something different based on their total Damage %, Lucario's hit damage grows as his total damage gets higher, so doing something similar to another character would be sweet. That and I really want SM64 Mario to have a WaitDamage. XP Well I still have other aniamtions that I can replace, like ledge grabbing and whatnot. Post Merge: July 04, 2012, 08:17:09 PM
We already have enough Shadows, we don't need a program that automatically makes them. He doesn't mean the Sonic character, he meant the shadow models in the ModelData[10].brres file in the FitCharacter.pac/.pcs files.

Iseewhatyoudidthere Anyway.. An automatic character shadow maker would be awesome but it'd take ages to get working... Who even looks at shadows anyway? 0_o I know it'd make the hacks feel more whole but it is just a tiny aspect of the game... There should be an easy to make shadow tutorial somewhere though, just to show functions in 3ds max to make extremely low poly stuff, it'd be kinda useless to most people however..

To be honest I would prefer that Final Smashes be more like the Mystic Arts in Tales of Series, more notable in Tales of Symphonia 2. Mario's FS (even though it's lame and kinda op-ed) has a similar feel. All it's missing is the anime style cutout image of him appearing on the screen >=3 Cuz, you know, this is pretty relevent. On topic: 1: How goez the BRSAR rebuilding?
You bug him all the time about this
