    Hey t6here everybody, xxmasal22xx here. Got a quick question about replacing Popo and Nana with two different models. Whenever i replace Popo with lucario and Nana with Charizard, it freezez my game about 3-5 seconds after i select them. How can i fix this? Or is it not possible for them to be different models than each other?

    Well I have seen Mario and Luigi replace the Ice Climbers.  Of course, I tend to avoid model swaps most of the time.

    ok....do you know how i make two squirtles both over the iceclimbers with the same model use different textures?

    (I've NEVER tried this myself so I'm just guessing).
    The ICs use diffrent models, right?
    In BrawlBox (assuming you've already ported over the models and textures for Squirtle) open up the model data and go to the folder ''Textures 1'', just renaming the nodes there might do the trick, but as I'm sorta too lazy to try it myself you gotta do it.

    my guess would be something is wrong with one of the models, or the MotionEtc file (if you're using one).  i've done and seen a few swaps over the ICers, and they've (mostly) worked, or at least didn't freeze the game a few seconds into a match.

    heck, i did a Sonic and Tails combo once, and it didn't freeze.  the main reason i didn't do much with it was that Tails's foot polygon stretched out across the screen. 

    it shouldn't matter what models are used, but something might me messed up with the models themselves.

    that would require a little hexing.  but saving a lengthy explanation, here's an edited one i just made.

    this is only the edited .MDL0 file.  i made it so all you have to do is put a 2 after the texture names, and it will only load the ones with a 2 at the end. 

    but if you want to know how to do it yourself, load the model in a hex editor, go to the end of the file where all the manes are, find the texture names, and change them to whatever you want.

    so for example, the regular texture names are like this, FitPokeZenigame_Face, and with my edit, name the shiny textures like this, FitPokeZenigame_Face2.  then they will work the way you want.
