    well now that brawl hacking has gotten a bit more impressive... ur now able to import .obj's through the Mario Kart Wii model replacement method!
    Wait, does this mean that this stage is literally ripped and imported from Ocarina of Time?

    yes, yes it is!

    but as u see in the last page and in the video... there's some texture issue's.. but i fixed most of them except for the 1's that cant be transparent.

    Eh, texture issues can always be retextured or worked around. It's importing the models that's so much more significant. I might want to look into this if it's not too complicated.

    Eh, texture issues can always be retextured or worked around. It's importing the models that's so much more significant. I might want to look into this if it's not too complicated.

    lol i actually got another .obj model to work fine in brawl, so im more happy now!! =D

    and to show u wat i mean.. and doing it by myself w/o any1 helping me.... Here's Crystal World in-game pics!!! Note: they were taken in Dolphin and will test the stage out in the morning.. like after i wake up that is. xD

    And now here's some in-game pics of Peach's Castle (Melee). has some texture issue, but easy fix Grin... also... should i make the stage more bigger or wat? look at these pics to find out!

    Oh, i see you do Peach Castle Melee some like me...So i'll stop it.

    But i got a council for you.
    And the scene of 3ds Max, delete the platforms and export the stage.
    Take again the Peach Castle with platforms and delete all without the platforms, save only one platforms.

    Because OBJ or DAE got only one bone. After, you can animate the platform.

    Don't forget the Bullet Bill.

    Importing .obj's was already known for quite some time actually:

    Doesn't change the fact that I like what I'm seeing right now.

    BTW, has anyone tried importing Melee Battlefield as of yet?

    yeah their a bit hard to fix.. it seems like N64 models cant use transparency, but other models from other games can, which i find a bit odd O_o

    nope, not the Melee Battlefield cause its not in a .obj file yet... and i dont kno how to rip the .obj out of the .dat file X_X

    but ya, obj imorting has been around as u said, but it was really buggy and all. but since the MKW method has been updated, we can now properly import obj's, but still there's some issue's with some stages.

    yeah, but i can fix them alot more better with the .dae to mdl0 importer once its finished Wink


    Edit:
    after going through some of the .obj files, i was able to fix some of the transparency issue's with peach's castle (and a bit on Ganons Tower)... Luckily, i have made a HUGE upgrade on Melee's Peach's Castle!!! Now all thats left is to resize the stage, and fix the clouds and waterfall ripple textures (damn them -_-)
