    Is it possible that when this gets released, it can also be without Swimmable water? I'd prefer it have the water look like that, yet stay true to the original one with non-swimable water. If its not too much.

    Looks great. If you can't get the shading done properly, you can change the stage lighting to help darken certain things.... or you can darken certain textures in Gimp or Photoshop.

    Looks great. If you can't get the shading done properly, you can change the stage lighting to help darken certain things.... or you can darken certain textures in Gimp or Photoshop.
    yeah i COULD do that... but u see, most of these materials share the same texture file... so if i darken it, it will affect the other area's too, even 1's thats in the light also... which is why im figuring out how to add shaders to these obj imports =/

    edit: i think im close to fixing the shaders.... by comparing the imported stage model shaders to brawls, i can see 1 small difference to them.

    for the imports, they come like this in the shader structure..

    ColorEnv0: 0
    AlphaEnv0: 0


    and for brawls, their like this...

    ColorEnv0: 1
    AlphaEnv0: 0

    thats the only difference i see in their models

    I really guess you should give people what they want, specially when it's quick to do. You don't even need to add modeldatas.



    A small edit I made for Ryan, who's already doing some texture editing stuff for himself. I guess Italian already made his own swimmable version too. When the one making the stage doesn't do what people want, people start editing things for themselves.

    If you want this small edit, ask Ryan for it  Kirby Dance


    As Mewtwo already told you guys, ive changed some stuff on DSX8 great Termina Bay import because i didnt liked it the way it was. So i decided to edit almost every texture of the stage. I did the best i can to get the look more like in Melee. This is the result so far:



    But its not done yet and the spawn point still need to be fixed, the water isnt moving yet and there is no shadow system for the caracters on this swimmable version so far.

    Thank you again for this import DSX8. And i know you will make a V2 which is swimmable.
    But i couldnt wait any longer! Kirby Dance  But i bet your V2 will be great anyways! Smiley

    right now it makes me feel like quiting that ppl r updating great bay w/o asking for my permission (except for ItalianStallion)..

    yeah, imma use his for future updates.. just gotta wait till he's done xD

    and yes, that would be alot of work for the shaders Dx
    and by lights, do u mean the scenedata's? if so, no.. its just that if u change the materials type/flag3, the textures becomes all white due to it being a .obj import with no shaders, so it always has to stay as 1, which is glow, change it to anything else, u'll get a glitch effect.

    yeah that model is in brawl box (newest 1 that is.. older BB gets errors wen u try to preview the model)

    and yeah, lowering Flag6 does nothing at all.. just missing shaders and thats it.

    Like the progress people made with the water. It was the biggest reason I had not downloaded it in a heart beat. Are you still gonna make a Brawl sized version?
