    Just a quick question. How do I fix his quills so they don't move with the bones? I've seen mods that do this.

    I've never modded Sonic, but I'd say renaming bones is the best bet.
    If you just add "_null" or something like that, to the end of the quill bones they should no longer follow the animations.
