So I'm playing Brawl through Riivo while having a RiiFS server running, pause the game and edit a CSP, then when I exit the match and get to the CSS, the Wii stops making the whirring noise and then I get this message:

"An error has occurred. Please eject the disk and turn the power off. Read the manual for more information."

Now that's not word-for-word because I don't really remember what it said (I have a terrible memory) but that's pretty close to what it said and I believe you could still get the point regardless.

So anyone know what happened? This has never happened to me before.

I doubt it's due to hacks.
Either your Wii disc drive is s***ing itself, or the disk is scratched and messed up.
    Have you checked the disc?

Checked the disc and it doesn't have a single scratch or anything on it, which is surprising conisdering the fact I've had it since launch.

How is it the lens? I just got done saying it's perfectly clean there is no scratches or anything on it, just like a few microscopic dots and a few barely visible finger-like smudges. But no scratches.

Oh so now I'm gonna have to go ripping apart my Wii and fixing [censored] inside it? I don't know if I'm experienced enough to do that I mean I've never ever had to do something like that before with any of my consoles.

    ...... I don't suggest you do that yourself. :|

Your probably gonna have to send it in to Nintendo for that.

If you end up doing that, be sure to remove all traces of hacking.

I thought as much, but I need to play the game again and see if it still happens, then try other discs.

Don't worry I have no hacks on my Wii at all and never have installed any. I've been using Smash Stack for all my hacking ever since I first started doing it November 13th, 2010.

Edit: Well I'm playing Brawl again just fine and so far I haven't gotten that error again.

A Wii Lens Cleaning Kit? Did you even bother looking it up? You don't have to open your Wii at all.

No because I haven't ran into the error message again since I posted this so I'm not gonna worry about it anymore. I was able to play a full Brawl match fine and I'm playing Mario Party 7 right now no problems.
