i have photoshop and have unpacked .pac's using ash. i knwo that only +2's can be made transparent... but i dont knwo the difference. how do i tell between a +1 and a +2?

p.s. i am tryign to make  :mario: hat transparent.. am i wasting my time?

Trying to make Mario transparent is a waste of time.  Picano tried it himself, but Mario appeared completely black instead.  Only his eye iris textures can be transparent last I checked.

Regarding +1 and +2 textures, there's really no difference between the two; they both require an indexed palette.

hmmm i c. damn... hatless  :mario: wont be made then T.T

i was making a green lantern mario and i wanted his hat gone, but now i uess ill just repalce the M with the lanturn symbol.. oh well.

Actually, picano, did you completely make mario transparent, because when you save a file thats 100% transparent without atleast 1 pixel of hard color, photoshop will save it as black/white (depends on what photoshop you have). You should try again with atleast 1 hard pixel, if you have not already done so.

Texture updates.

@Zephiel: “your” Stack Smash?

GIMP all the way for me. --- It doesn't suffer from that glitch.

Also, there is a hatless Mario code... might just suggest that for use with the texture.
