how do you ets csps to work with riivolution?

common5.pac > sc_selcharacter > char_bust_tex_Lz77 and all the MiscDatas you see in there are the CSPs for character. Go into any MiscData and click any of the files to see a preview of what CSP it is, then to replace it just open an image up in any image editing program, resize it to the same dimensions as the CSP in BrawlBox, save it as a .png, then replace the one in BrawlBox with it.

You should follow this guide for a more thorough explanation.

yes ive read the guide and used csps before i just need to know the right directory so i can use my cloud csps for olimar but so far they havent been working lately i have the files in the right folders of my sd card but my csps never show up when i launch the game

The directory for CSPs is common5.pac > sc_selcharacter_en > char_bust_tex_Lz77 > MiscData[##].

You make all your CSP edits inside the common5.pac, and the common5.pac goes in your /system folder.

No, (root):/brawlmods/textures/system/common5.pac. Or if you use the Gecko layout, (root):/pf/system.

hmm... well i did that exactly and i only have 4 pics replaced and their all for the olimar but its still freezing once i go into a brawl

Is the image the same dimensions as the Olimar CSP you replaced? Is it in either CI8 or CMPR format? If yes to both, then I have no idea why it froze; I'm sorry.
