I'd say porting wouldn't be a bad idea regardless of the limit, better chance of it working as well.

He's saying it freezes when he replaces it, he's not asking for how to replace it.

the sc_selcharacter.pac size is a problem for me, it also freezes,

Really? Try switching ALL image formats to CMPR (until the file size is not above the limit)

EDIT: I'll try and reduce the file size myself if you want.

I DID IT! the problem was in the csp(I REPLACED THEM IN BRAWLSCAPE(TERRIBLE AT replacing csp(makes them crappy)

i exported ikes csp then replaced olimars with brawlbox then i went to brawl and froze before css

sometimes use brawlscape as its easier to know which csp leads to which costume
