i have obtained a wii iso and was trying to figure somthing out about it, but no success.

i was trying to see if i could somehow view its data like the 'brawl ISO partition data'
where its set up in files so people can manage the data for hacks like we do.

all i want to do is find out if its possible to do that with other wii games than just brawl.

any help is appreciated as google has obviously failed me.  Awesome Face

Any game can be viewed like the Brawl Partition, but not necessarily as organized.

Just use Wiiscrubber to open the .iso, it's faster.
If you're looking for models, it's normally .brres files, althrough they might be packed in some annoying form. You'd be better off asking that to RandomTBush or whoever in the Mdl0 resource thread on Smashboards.

Still, don't forget to tell us if Negima uses .mdl0s. I'm slightly interested even through I only read it like once

Dolphin is a wii/gamecube game emulator, not unlike ZSNES or project 64.

i think i got wii scrubber to work now, but im not sure how to find the models.
i found brstm files thought so i guess its a start.

i know i heard that .arc files can be the models and converted to .mdlo files
but i think the .arc files i found are for somthing else, but ill keep looking.

EDIT: i was checking through 4 specific .brstm files that caught my attention as they were name
like they would be for brawl 'm04' and the like. two of them were snippets from US 80s songs Shocked

Dolphin can help you find models with memory dumps. Basically, run your iso with Dolphin, and when your models are displaying, go to task manager, right-click dolphin, and select memory dump?
I'm not really sure about that since I never used it...

If you're looking through the iso with WiiScrubber, the models are likely in folders named mdl or something like that. No .brres? Maybe it's indeed those .arc files, then.

I think the mdl0 resource has tools for unpacking those. Maybe you should give it a shot...

thnx, imma have to try those since the .arc files i was talking about were in a file called
'home btn' and each file was for a language like ENG, FRA, JAP, and others which is wierd
since its a japan only game.
