Solve My CSP Please... Maybe Win A Cookie... If it Exists

Problem: I cannot get my portraits on the Character Selection Screen to work. I can get the results screen and the battle portraits to work. But not the CSPs. I've tried several different tutorials (two of which were the simplest to follow) and the results were fail. I'd like to solve this and then maybe figure out how to do stage selection portraits at some point. But this comes first.

First make sure you portraits are in the sc_character.pac
After that you need to make sure that your sc_character is inside a common5.pac and put the common5.pac in pf/system on ur SD...Load brawl and that should work

If the CSP's still dont work then i dont know what your problem could be...

Next:
Making SSS portraits and icons

1. Get a picture of the stage
2. open up your photo editing program (gimp or photoshop)
3. Get the pic and load it in that program
4. Resize it to 176x176 for the portrait (or to save space make it 96x96) then save it
5. Keep that pic and resize it again to 64x56 for the icon
6. click file then click open another layer
7. load your icon template for the SSS you use (at the bottom are all the templates)
8. then go up to image/mode/index and click ok
9. save it as another file and it should ask merge visible layers? 
Click yes and boom ... you have a SSS icon and portrait
