I have windows 7 so anim8tor doesnt work,  I cannot find a link to the 3dsmax 2008 or 9 trial can some one help me I am really wanting to get into vertexing

this is not about vertexing, this is where to find a program, i don't think this belongs on the help thread

    No this is the right section as he's asking help to learn how to vertex.

    My suggestion would be Blender, though I'm not exactly sure how it works.  DasDonkey Box can convert the files you need to open into Blender and you can edit the vertices there.

    I think it would be better to look for the trial in autodesks page, not sure if they support old versions. If not you can do as TruePhilosopher said and go with blender (its free i think) but not sure if it works with MK64 method, but works with DD vertex box.

    If I use blender then that means I dnt need anim8tor because if you have windows 7 it seems that anim8tor wont work the m64 method is what I would like to do but like I said before the trial versions for 3dsmax are all 2012

    I am also wanting to learn this but cannot do it either , is there a working 3dsmax 2008 or 2009 trial link
