This pac will not work through ASH or STASH... I don't want to give away where I found it. But I will upload it. Can anyone get the texture out of this pac. If so, can you please tell me how?

    Is this even in the Brawl .iso? Because lz77ex doesn't get a single asterik, and it's at 10 MB already.

    Where did you find this in the ISO? If its not from the brawl iso it wont work.

    Smash box can't open it either.

    Honestly, no. But it's in a game that was made with the help of the smash bros creators. In the iso there are a bunch of brawl related stuff. Such as brstms that work in BCSM-GUIv1.5.

    Knew it. These tools were made for Brawl files. Not these. This is probably the exact same case when VILE tried to open another one of these, he assumed it was around 800GB.

    EDIT: When I was about to close it, I got one asterik at 19.7 MB. I'm assuming this file is around 100 MB. This will take a while...

    Knew it. These tools were made for Brawl files. Not these. This is probably the exact same case when VILE tried to open another one of these, he assumed it was around 8GB.


    But maybe there is something we can do with it... after all the brstms worked, and the smash people helped with the game.

    Brstm is a universal file type, though. It's just what the Wii uses as its music (though I've heard of some using dat or something). However, pacs, while having the same extension, are compressed in different ways. This pac doesn't work with the extraction tools available to us.

    He's not going to get anything. I was running lz77ex on it for a while, and it was at 35.2 MB before I gave up. Compressing that much into 2 MB would be a miracle. It will probably keep going forever.

    Yeh what should have been the enf of file pointer was GIANT. Its probably some of the brawl creators tom foolery to stop us from extracting easily. Really who cares about that game.

    Alright, so Lz77ex finished. The file is 355 MB, and SSBBExtract crashes when it tries to read the thing.

    I don't have any other way of opening the file.

    EDIT: Well, Hex Editor read the file as it was still compressed, which means, Lz77ex didn't do anything.

    The file wasn't lz77 compressed. So when lz77ex tried to decompress it, it got stuck in a loop. Like I told Shadow, I'm surprised it didn't go forever. I've heard of people trying to decompress things with lz77ex and getting a file that was several GB.

    Sigh. Phail. If you want the textures, open the iso with dolphin, dump the textures with that.
    ....okay i have no clue what im talking about, but from wat i hear dolphin can dump textures, so just do that and figure out how to hex 'em back into the pac.
