I wonder if that poll + report bug was fixed though, since it somehow counted made reports onto your vote count..

You're mistaking the Votes and the Topics Started.
When you report a post, you automatically make a topic in a board hidden to non-staff users, so that's why it was counting them.
(Would be kinda very freaky if reporting somehow added votes...)

I don't remember if the stats shown in-Profile was fixed, but I know the Award script for "Hey Listen!" does not ccount reports (or deleted topics, for that matter).
