Hi guys im brand new to all of this and ive got no idea what im doing. Ive just downloaded the chaos master shadow, my wii is homebrewed(if that matters idk) and I want to add this shadow char to my roster over sonic. Problem is i have no idea where to start. Help please  |

download code manager, then open the .txt file with code manager then export as .gct

I may have been overly harsh. My apologies.
Anyways, to put it simply, you can use the Code Manager app to create a .gct file (which SHOULD contain the File Patch Code). Put that file in the path:
SD:/codes.
Make sure you name it RSBX01.gct, the X standing for what region of Brawl you're using (NTSC-U will be E, PAL, will be P, and NTSC-J will be J).
Put the files for Shadow in (again, change the X according to the region):
SD:/private/wii/app/RSBX/pf/fighter/sonic

what does that mean do i need the ssbb data files that are on the complete Noob guide?
