Common3 pac issues

Im not sure if im doing something wrong but when i add an edited common3.pac to smash bros it freezes on the wiimote health/strap screen. When i remove the common pac it works but no matter what i cant get it to work can anyone help. Thanks to anyone who helps.

Did you edit the file yourself?

What exactly is changed?

i use brawl vault and add the pac files from the items i downloaded from here. i followed the instruction in the tutorial. i downloaded an unchanged common3.pac file then i opened it in brawl vault and replaced the item in the itembrres folder.

If you're pal, you can't use the common3 files from the brawlvault, you have to get a pal version of it :p

um not sure im pretty sure im ntsu or ntsc... um i think you know what i mean but how do i check

Are you from the US or Europe...

Then you have a NTSC-U Disc.... :p

Unless you bought it in europe :p

nope then i dont know whats wrong all the other stuff works its just the common3.pac that doesnt

ok ill try maybe the ones ive downloaded were corrupted or something

seems like i was adding to many new items to the common3.pac file and it wouldnt load i got rid of a few and it works now. thanks for the help
