That's right I've finally finished that damned walk animation, but it looks great.
(This has been updated to the walk fast, it's the same as the regular walk but half the frames) This is only the first twenty frames of the animation which is one step. The full animation is 60 frames and three steps and it was hell to make forty frames and two steps, but it wasn't easy. I've gone though as close in view as possible to make sure that the feet not only line up correctly but stay above the ground but not off in the air even a little at all times. I also added animation to the toes (As you can see) to make it look more like he's walking, along with his body rising and falling in height as he walks. All in all I did pretty good
Honestly this all took me awhile. I tried to make it 56 frames and two steps like Sheik but no, that didn't work. Along with that I spent about 3 hours trying and re-trying his walk animation trying to get it right so it would look nice and reflect Sanji. All in all the animation alone took about 2 hours, and I spent five trying to figure out how I was gonna do it. It only took so long to get here because of work and other crap getting in the way Also my computer seems to hate brawl box so this stuff kept happening to me

Wow that looks very nice ^^ It really helps to capture the character of Sanji with the hands in his pockets lookin' swag and it's super smooth. My advice to avoid situations like that is to always extract the animation you're doing. That way, if something goes wrong with saving you at least have the animation properly extracted separately.
And are you sure about 3 steps? Remember that because walking animations loop, that third step will make it look odd. He'll do a right step, then a left, then right but then another right and nobody walks like that XD

Yeah I figured that out. Problem is I have to do every animation frame by hand, if I let brawlbox feel in the blanks it does stuff like that last pic

... I didn't think about that... [censored], I'll add another step... or take one away? o-o

Well it would be much easier to remove one and the overall results will look the same whether you have two or four steps.
And if you are doing it frame by frame, make sure to clean the animation afterwards so that the filesize is as low as possible.

Well, open up the animation in either Brawlbox 0.62b or the most recent 0.64, select the animation and simply hit the "Clean" button (it's right next to the top Paste button).

Huh, never noticed that...
Now for the animation... do I make him walk the same length as the current 60 frames or completely cut it off at forty frames?

The distance doesn't really matter. Just make sure he's moving via the TransN bone.
