Remember link is left handed so doing animation swaps will be difficult to do properly if you want him to be a right handed swordsman.

I think you can try making link's side smash animation 2, mabye make him pull out a bom-bomb for his d-special. I did that with ike in the form of a Mini-PSA, just for some ideas.

True that... I think I'd need to mirror Link's animations in order to make it work.

Actually, I debated with myself for this one... But I'm not sure, actually. Both of their Side Smash is one of their best attacks (Link for its double hit, and Ike for its power.)
I COULD make him do both... Like one of Link's Side Smash, then following up with Ike's. I'm gonna think about it.

Well... I didn't want him to spawn a bom-bomb considering how powerful these are. But I see your point, though. Hence why I am making an explosive counter. The Counter from Ike + the explosion from Link's bomb.

You can't do the whole mirroring thing, it won't work.

You'd have to make the animation.
