EDIT: i thought i should show a SMALL preview.. its only the head though of the Long hair version

yea i realized the left eye is SLIGHTLY sticking out, ill fix it. the eye color isnt there by the way cuz it didnt show up while in 3DS MAX for some reason. link's eyebrows are too thick, it'll look better with eyebrows textured from the 1st post picture. also, the mouth is too narrow and too long too, needa fix it some more. i wanna give him either a smirk like from the character art in the abyss manual or from the 1st post picture.

im happy you like it. its kinda hard to see it at that angle but he does have the long hair, i think the long hair needs to be a LITTLE wider. its annoying patching it though, it takes alot of em for it to stay how i edited it in 3DS MAX. also, since the hair and link's hat were on bones, it all animates. im resisting the urge to make a Mieu vertex over pikachu right now.. i pretty much made it already.. in my head. someday i guess, just a model.

i just finished making the lower section of the pants, made em "baggy" lookin. im gonna fix the face up now.

hard choice huh. i like EVERY character. its hard to decide on going over any character for me, even king dedede. one time my lil' brothers thought i was being cheap with lucas, fox, marth and many others so they made me pick dedede for one on one and stuff. still kicked their asses. lol

i aim to make luke a average weight guy and average strength. to give him a edge though he will be able to do alot of chain combos. hopefully its possible to make it so that B arte moves activate with less delay IF they were done after a 3 stage A combo. so it'll be like playin tales  

also to try making it possible to chain another arte if you press the B and stick direction at the right time after the 1st arte, like marth's F/B move. and then FOF powered artes.. theyll mostly be for eye candy cuz they wont be much stronger, i want to keep it balanced. if i cant make a temporary triggerable floor thing ill just have to make it that he gets 1 FOF powered arte for everytime you successfully do the full "FOF taunt". he'll generate and absorb a FOF circle in the animation.

i hope i do too. that was the arcane arte i always chained the mystic arte with and just a sweEEEet arte overall.

to tell you the truth i get distacted incredibly easy and fall asleep on my laptop alot so i dont know. and then i try to get things too perfect. like tonight ive spent TOO much time editing this dude's mouth. smirk or blunt.. smirk or blunt.. still deciding and seeing which expression looks better. i DO want the model up before the weekend is over. WHILE the model is up ill start the moveset and also texture-ers will get their shots at texturing luke for v0.02. hopefully the moveset takes not more than a month for at least a bug testing release or something, i cant make any promises though. this IS my first PSA so i cant do time estimates.

side-note: i only textured his pants and hair cheaply just so the hair wasnt a mix of yellow and green    u_O

i crave the cannon too much to make it just a grab. i wanted all artes to be B moves so they can be chained from a 3 AAA combo. using it after the combo will just make it start with less start-up lag. its a hard choice though.. cuz that would fit gooOOOod for a F-throw..

i was just thinkin how funny it would be to make link's bomb into mieu.. remember how much he use to love abusing that thing, instead of throwing it he kicks it lol i wont though cuz thats reserved for havoc strike.

all im gonna do with the model now is do lil touch ups, i aim to have it up by tomorrow. AFTER v0.01 is out and you guys texture it for v0.02, ill be working on the animations for the moveset. hopefully have some B moves done. after the moveset is release-able and out ill do a v0.03 model that touches it up to perfection and THEN ill have to work on other costumes, like the short hair version, viscount, etc. i wont bother to do recolors though, others could if they want.

Well if you make LSC Up Smash, you could probably make Rending Thrust as Forward Smash.
