Agreed. Fix that, and Ruto is perfect.

if u mean the blackness thats behind ruto to where the stage lighting doesnt reach, then thats just how brawl's lighting is. normal maps r pretty much used for dynamic lighting, which brawl doesnt even use, so there's no way to fix the "blackness" on ruto with the shader i made for her.

its just a basic knowledge and replicated other shaders from other games.

from what i understand
he is releasing both versions: normal map shader, and regular shader.
regular shading is like this:


I for one, just wanted to see how far we can get with different shaders and stuff, the regular shader would suffice though.
we havent been 100 percent able to import certain shaders, but progress is good.

indeed... altho i was basing the shader off of Noesis... so yeah.. altho its pretty close to what i received in brawl compared to Noesis. by removing the 2nd light, only 1 light is affecting the model thus making the back side, and some edges around the fins black, just like the pics i showed of ruto with the normal map shader.


and also... Ruto wishes everyone a deadly 2015... now sleep with this on ur mind.
