this I'm amazed that it's possible to rip from wii u games, I thought it would take a while to find out how. Now we just need to be able to rip from Tales of Xillia, and my life would be complete
lol idk if thats for wii u... anyways... legend of zelda wind waker HD uses the same file format too as super mario 3D world, and also uses BFSTM for its music.

Wait, is the model format for SM3DW the same as MKW? And if so, doesn't that mean you can just open it in BB, and view everything, or is it a similar situation with the SMG .arc files not being able to be opened in BB?

figured out most of the format for character and enemy files.. yaz0 decompression tool works, and gives out a Sarc file. inside there's FRES, FMDL, FVTX, FSKL, FSHP, FMAT, FTEX formats.
Sarc - Structure pack FRES - resource pack FMDL - Model FVTX - Vertex FSKL - Skeleton FSHP - Shape FMAT - Material FSKA - skeletal attributes? FTEX - textures
it is the same case as SMG, I see *-*

well finally got super mario 3d world fully extracted. everything is in a szs format with yaz0 compression. figured out most of the format for character and enemy files.. yaz0 decompression tool works, and gives out a Sarc file. inside there's FRES, FMDL, FVTX, FSKL, FSHP, FMAT, FTEX formats. ummm no... they're not the same... GCN games, and the SMG/MKW game used yaz0 compression with rarc compression, not sarc compression, so no BB isnt able to load the files at all. Heh, it's for ps3 oh, thats out of my league then it is the same case as SMG, I see *-*

not exactly.. yet edit: FSKA is now known as animation files, courtesy to BJ finding float value's for keyframes also 2 new file types found within LoZ:WWHD -FSHU - texture animations -FTXP - texture palette?

nope... cause at the moment.. there is no way to get the FMDL model extracted from the BFRES files. altho now there's a sarcdump, im now able to get brfes files from the unpacked sarc format. still no way of extracting from bfres tho. wait a few months? wait bj is working on decrypting the files? nope BJ isnt working on WiiU format at all. I only sent him a file that has FSKA in it cause i wasnt sure exactly what it was, and he found float value's that looks like keyframes, and by the name of the FSKA file, SK is like skeleton and the A is animation, so that makes sense to be animation files. edit: after comparing FSHU and SRT0, i can confirm that FSHU is indeed texture animations for WiiU games.

yeah, pretty much $300 USD to add support for sarc, bfres, fmdl, and ftex format to BB.. altho if any1 wants to help me pitch in, then thats fine with me, he doesnt mind monthly payments xD
If I had money...see, I was going to work, until High School decided to be allday Anywas, try asking people on forums like this one, if you want help wit divulgating, I can help as well. I can't do.much, but I'd like to help with the possible

welp.. found more Wii U games that uses bfres and FMDL format.
-Mario Kart 8 -New Super Mario Bros U + New Super Luigi U -Nintendo Land
currently downloading Smash U so that when a script comes out, ill have my own files ready for importing!
edit: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate uses .arc format, while the model format is similar to XML coding, with another format as .LVR(?) Videos are in 1080p with 30 fps feedback.
MK8 videos are in 720p with 60 fps feedback and Smash U is in 1080p with 60 fsp feedback.

Wait, how did you get the MK8 files? The index of Wii U posted in the facepunch thread only had sounds in it?
And Captain Toad uses the same format as 3D world, if that interests you.
