...i just wanna know if when u rip the models the polygons act like polygons, instead of a lot of loose faces
for example download the donkey kong model in models-resource, from mario party, if u use the polygonal seletion it still selects just faces...
For me, sections of models have always acted as objects on import. I use a different model ripping method to the one on The Spriter's Resource Community Forum though, so I'm not sure why that happened.

lol by using a better Wavefront Object import method. I recommend you use
this plugin, as it is the most compatible Wavefront Object import plugin available for 3D Studio Max. If you still think there's reversed materials on the model imported by that plugin, you may be mistaken. I can upload the original model render for comparison if needed.
btw, PSX Solid Snake's left hand is his "empty" hand, and his right hand is his "holding" hand. Both were included for completeness' sake, but generally the holding hand would suit most of Snake's SSBB animations. I recommend you delete one hand (probably the left), replace it with a copy of the opposite hand, and flip it to match the original side.
