Hello Kitty Corp Forums, I am the one known as Gearslide (Don't worry, it's not a name to know). Having used this board as a source of many textures, I finally decided to start paying back to it. I don't work on normal textures (Characters, Stages, Items {I don't even know how to get items working}), instead I work on Boss and enemy textures.  I'm mostly self-taught, with most of my understanding of boss textures coming from fiddling around as well as MarioandSonicGuy's instructions included in his texture packs.  Essentially, M&SG was the one who inspired me to work on these textures.

Anyways, now that introductions are over, here come the textures!

Master Hand ---> Master Blue:

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?yjjuuenjjam

Not really an amazing texture, but it is kinda cool looking. It even looks like latex.

Crazy Hand ---> Crazy Red:

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?qynktlzzcwz

Again, nothing too crazy (see what I did there?), it's basically a red Crazy Hand.

Duon ---> Gearslide:

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?hkn2zqcxgki

A texture of Duon I made based on my name here. I never want to work on Duon again, he has far too many interconnected texture sheets, and is really annoying to recolor.

Meta Ridley ---> Omega Ridley (Accurate to In-game Model)

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?onhzumtjdry

This is a recolor of Meta Ridley as Omega Ridley (Metroid Prime 3 for those who don't know). This version is based on Omega Ridley's in-game model, which consists of mostly Grays, Blacks, and a slight tint of Green.

Meta Ridley ---> Omega Ridley (Concept Art)

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?ocaiydt3gwi

This version of Omega Ridley is based off Omega Ridley's awesome concept art. This version kinda looks supercharged with phazon.

Tabuu ---> Wonder Tabuu

Alright, this one isn't a great texture. I have no idea how to change Tabuu's colors. His colors seem to be effects, rather than textures. I did however, manage to change his eyes, "boomerang" and wings.

Coming Soon:

Bosses:
-Dark Gloves (Textures for master and Crazy Hand)
-Fiery Dino Piranha (Texture for Petey Piranha)
-Shadow Rayquaza (Texture for Rayquaza)
-Ridley X (Texture for Ridley)
-Mecha Ridley {Boss at the end of Metroid: Zero Mission} (Texture for Meta Ridley)

Enemies:
-(Unknown Texture) Primid
-(Unknown Textures) R.O.B. Squad
-Gloomba and Giant Gloomba (Textures for Goomba and Giant Goomba)
-Golden Bullet Bill (Texture for Bullet Bill)
-Dark Knight (Texture for Armight)
-Elite Autolance (Texture for Autolance)
-(Unknown Texture) Bucculus
-(Unknown Texture) Buckot
-Gold Feyesh (Texture for Feyesh)
-(Unknown Texture) Gamyga
-(Unknown Texture) Tickin
-(Unknown Texture) Trowlon

Possible Textures (Should I ever learn how to edit CLR0 files):
-(Unknown Texture) Bytan
-(Unknown Texture) Cymul
-(Unknown Texture) Floow
-(Unknown Textures) Glire, Glice, and Glunder
-(Unknown Texture) Mite
-(Unknown Texture) Nagagog
-(Unknown Texture) Shaydas
-(Unknown Texture) Spaak
-(Unknown Texture) Jyk

    I see that my project has inspired someone else to attempt to do enemy textures.

    Unfortunately, very few people wanted to download my enemy textures, likely because they have no SmashBox experience whatsoever.  Thing is however, the enemy textures are in multiple PAC files instead of just one PAC file; only the Primids have their own file, which is adventure_common.arc.

    Hey M&SG, if you and I finish making textures for all the enemies, would it be easier if I just released all of the adventure stage .pac files already pre SmashBox'd so people just have to download them and put them in the directory?

    Easier said than done, since the stage PAC files do use quite a large amount of memory when you stack them up into one download.

    Also, not every enemy can be modified to a large extent, since there are some enemies that have texture parts that only support grayscale colors.  Likewise, some enemies have CLR0 files (such as Bytan, Roturret, and Nagagog) that you can't edit without manual hexing.

    I assume that Mites fall into that category?

    That's correct.  Like with Mr. G&W, they have no texture parts that you can modify.  For the Mites, all edits involve modifying the CLR0 files.

    That sounds Tedious and Annoying.

    At least most enemies don't have any CLR0 files.  The enemies without CLR0 files can be fully modified.

    P.S.: Although Roturret does have CLR0 files, they only affect its eyes.  You can still modify its body.

    I think there are parts of Nagagog that you can modify as well.

    Edit: Tabuu texture fixed

    Nagagog does have some modifiable texture parts, but all of them only accept grayscale colors.  It's its CLR0 files that control its body color.

    So does that apply to Shaydas as well?

    For future reference, textures with the file names, tex#00_00, tex#00_01, tex#00_02, and tex00_03, only accept grayscale colors.  However, tex#00_02 and tex#00_03 do support transparent colors as well.

    Considering that I have quite a few textures being worked on currently, I decided to add a coming soon section. Also, I have a Louie texture for Olimar (similar to the one from Syntax Error, but seeing as how I could never find a working version of theirs, I made my own) if anyone wants me to upload it. I may decide to work on a Warioware stage as well, seeing as how that's the only one in my roster without a new texture. Look forward to them. Or not.
