Ok, so I edited the song.db file so it looks like this:

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?uzd4m2yyniy

And then I compressed it into an info.pac file:

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?yvjncyt4tne

Then I put it here:

SD Card/private/wii/apps/RSBE/pf/info/info.pac

I started up the game with Gecko OS, and went to start a match, but when I try and go on a stage, it freezes up at the point where the song title should be shown.

Can someone help me out with this problem?

The folder for it is info2, not info.

And it should only freeze if you edited it incorrectly(erased those boxes between titles) or put really odd characters in there.

It's doesn't have anything to do with the song title being too long though. I've seen massive titles work with this(Three Minutes Clapping: The World Ends With You).

Hmm...I put it in info2, but it still doesn't work...

Umm...Could someone try and edit the song.db file so it would work in Brawl? Because I don't understand what to do....

Well, what are you editing it with? I use notepad, as I don't have notepad++ and other text editors may screw up the text format.

    I'm havin' that problem too.
I edit the title in Notepad, and it freezes when the music title is supposed to appear.

Make sure you're using File Patch 3.5.1 or else it won't work at all. Also, what does the program say after making the info.pac?

Um...I'm using the most recent version of the Nightly Build of Brawl+....
I'm guessing that doesn't have the File Patch 3.5.1 code.....

AS for my end, I am using File Patch 3.5.1.
I edited my music titles in Notepad (I was usin' Wordpad earlier).
I'll test it out and see what happens
What shows after the songs.db was injected
    Code:
    convert alstt_out.pac<1265984byte> to info.pac<399204byte>
Success! 1160 bytes before its too big! Note that thats after compression, so it doesn't mean you can't have long song titles. Also, lots of uneeded information was left inside info.pac
    Press Enter to Close Window.
EDIT: It works. Can't trust Wordpad I guess lol

Gah, I see what I did wrong...
I ended up editing it in WordPad, not NotePad....
    Bah...
Could someone please copy and paste the list on my song.db onto a new song.db file via Notepad?
My Notepad doesn't work for some reason...

You're better off downloading notepad++ or notepad+ portable. Editing in regular notepad is a hassle.
