Editing yoshi's Egg

OK, so up until this point all I've done related to brawl hacking are CSPs and BRSTMs, but I decided to give texture hacking a try. I wanted to try something small first, so I picked yoshi's egg (the defensive/egg-roll one, not the one he throws), but it seems very confusing...

I am trying to change the egg in the Blaarg costume Stack smash made to be red and yellow, and I am using gimp and BrawlBox.

I can't confirm this but It's either in entry or a part of the model.

Eternal Yoshi typed up a small tutorial on how to edit Yoshi's rolling egg.

Well this was not what I was looking for... all it tells me is that it has a 16 color pallete. I was hoping for something that would involve BrawlBox...

If you want to edit a texture, get your pac, open it in brawlbox, scroll down to textures, export it, edit it and replace it.

On a side note, Yoshi's egg can't be transparent, despite the fact that its palette accepts transparent colors.

I thought that when editing Yoshi's egg you cant have the little circle your editing, The circle CANT touch the edge of the image?

The main problem for me is that when I try to import the edited texture, brawlbox crashes.
