    So, I'm currently redoing one of my hacks in the mean time (until I can start on Bahamut that is) and there are apparent UV mapping issues with the eye texture, despite having the corrected texture file in the directory.

    Here's the one I'm working on, with the incorrect material/UV mapping


    Here's the one I worked on back in early summer, when Joke corrected the mapping


    I will find a tutorial

    Don't worry, I'll give credit to Joke as I did before; my wanting to redo the model is NOT a sign of being ungrateful. I just want to do a side-by-side comparison on how I t-posed then and now.

    Edit 10:15 AM Never mind, found a useful tutorial on YouTube and managed to fix the eyes myself.  Can't get the eyelashes to show up in Brawl Box though.

    I pretty much finished with the texture with Magus. Demon_of_Elru made the texture map for me and made the scythe and chain.

    Tried messing with cull values, none of them did a dang thing. Wish there was someone willing to take a gander at it.  I don't know a damn thing about UV mapping and I wish I did.

    Try vertexing his pinkie finger to be part of the hand, instead of deleting that finger's vertices and then moving the vertices on the hand to cover up the gap, it sometimes doesn't look that great.
    That Mickey looks really good, what else is left besides maybe getting rid of the pinkie fingers?

    Any suggestions on getting the eyelash textures to show up? I don't think the eye textures are mapped properly either.  Granted, they look normal, but they're supposed to be yellow, not magenta.

    It's its own texture file (there are over twenty texture files for different parts) but for some reason it's white in color. Which is weird, considering when Joke helped correct the textures on the original version, they appeared black on the model. These textures I extracted from the model with the corrected textures.  I took the liberty at investigating the file in Brawl Box and it was indeed transparent, leaving me with a WTF face.

    But then I proceeded to open up the png file and change it solid black, and now it shows up in Brawl Box....what the bloody hell?  I'm not complaining mind you, I think it's odd that the texture was transparent when Joke fixed the textures, maybe it was some sort of sorcery, but as for the eyes being magenta and not yellow/gold, that one's beyond me.  I might try another experiment for that one. But again, I wish there some good UV mapping tutorials on these forums, but there aren't any at all.

    Well if a texture is transparent, then in the model preview that part will be invisible, although it might not be visible in 3ds Max or in the game, it's just the way BB is at the moment.
