    Velen likes to call me Sai, hes still stuck on my old username Tongue (maybe I should change that at some point)

    Velen, i modeled Megaman Zero cause I wanted to model Megaman Zero (just liek how i modeled espeon, and plan to model the 4 gaurdians), not for some fake glory like downloads. Wanting him in brawl didn't come till later on in his development process. I made my model from scratch, he got his via import. All that matters to me is how far i can push my modeling skills, if at the end of the day I have done the best I can do, I am happy. This doesn't hurt me at all, I'll still continue to UV map the model.

    but if anyone wants to see what I've done, here ya go. Again, adding him into Brawl wasn't my intention Velen, it wasn't his sole reason for existing, i made him cause i wanted to.



    (and yes that is hitman: absolution running in the background XD)

    I hate how there are so many imports coming out (or were released recently) and I'm too busy to do almost any sort of brawl hacking with them... *sigh*

    Even though his eyes look normal here, they do NOT show up in-game.

    Have you tried setting the Cull to "None" for the eye materials ?

    Have you tried setting the Cull to "None" for the eye materials ?

    Haven't tried that but I will, otherwise in-game they look like the body textures on a flat plan (much like how a jpeg has them), but smaller.

    Make the textures .png since that is the default extension that BrawlBox exports textures in when not specified, also have you changed the CMPR to RGBA8, or some other format? CMPR takes up the smallest amount of memory, but has the crappest quality, RGBA8 has the best quality, but also takes up the most space, and then the others are in between both quality and file size-wise.

But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.

    Thanks! Oh-ho-ho...just you wait, a fellow member requested me to make an improvement on those textures. So yeah, I can release two versions (same entry) normal and Brawl Styled textures. Tongue

    Now the fun part, fumbling in Photoshop trying to make them look Brawl-styled  Wink

    See, I want to do something like this to the scales itself, but there's a huge problem



    It poses as an issue. Currently, I have just the skin as a separate layer (from the other sections), and so naturally, the other layers need to have their own patterns (for the armor, leather, etc). Unfortunately, when I set the reptile skin pattern in  new layer and merge that and the skin pattern, all other layers have the pattern. I just want the skin to have it, nothing else. Hopefully that makes sense.

    Figured that since I don't feel like UVMapping at the momment, I'd go ahead and start on this bro to get the Suit released. Let's see how much I get done in next hour or two. I see what you did there ...

    Since it's just adding hammers and vertexing the hands, I should be able to get atleast two more versions done tonight, if anything the Hammer Mario Bros will be released by Sunday at the latest, although please don't hold me against my word if I don't get them released, if I don't, most likely due to reasons that I wouldn't be able to control. Im srs here

    Ninja'd. Please someone look at my last post (above) about layers and patterns.

    In essence, I want just the layer I set aside for the skin to have this pattern, the armor layer have its own pattern, the armor, and so on. Is this even possible?

    Separate layers merged with individual patterns for each texture.

    Armor should have a reflective pattern layer
    Scales should have a reptile/snake patter layer
    Leather should have a leather/material pattern layer

    Hopefully this clears up confusion, I just want to know how to do this.
