I know for a fact that the vast majority of the public here cares more about free products than actual quality. I mean, we're kinda modding an old Wii game after like 6 years, instead of buying new stuff. That's pretty telling.

 How many of you have seen the older WIP versions that were never released? If not, search Bowletta on Google Images, and you'll see some brawl hacks that were in the making over atleast a year ago.

I make YouTube videos, SM64 hacks, Brawl Hacks (obviously), NSMBW hacks, and GoldenEye 007 Mods. I also have a short attention span and tend to switch around a lot and put things on hold. But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.

 Got a good eye movement, she doesn't have blinking eyes because she never blinked in any of the sprites, so I didn't give her eyelids, if you edit the textures, then she should be able to blink, I'm not sure since I used the material file from SMG Bowser to fix the eye movement which seemed to mess up his expressions, so Bowletta probably can't blink now.  Besides she'd go cross-eyed if I didn't use that material file.  Now at some point I must've deleted it while I was deleting parts of her head, because she has a gaint hole in her shell. The upside to this is it gives me a reason to make a custom shell for her, make her have a bit more of a round shell instead of the strange shape that Brawl Bowser has, and then I can have her curl up into a ball, *cough* cough* * anpther similarity to SMG Bowser* *cough* cough*  Now the black parts in her hair is because I forgot to use the right material file to get them transparent, and the horns seem to have an error in the mapping, although they look fine in 3ds max.  Have her shell made...but I don't like the rigging  , so I'll probably send it to Nanobuds or someone else that is an expert at rigging. You get to see her FS eyes, which in M&LSS her eyes turn Yellow when you is charging up for a massive firebreath attack, and also when she goes into her star mode or what you call when she turns black and has stars falling form the sky to attack the bros.

Time for another update! Kalypso from Donkey Kong Barrel Blast over Peach!  The model had to be manually T-posed since people at Models Resource are too lazy. Surprisingly, it wasn't that hard to rig it (thus far). Should be ready soon! Post Merge: July 30, 2012, 07:28:59 AM
Edit: Ugh. The bloody textures won't show up in-game; Brawl freezes after choosing the character. What format are these png files supposed to be in? I also assume that I can't skip using any of the included texture files, either.

the textures that came with Kalypso, there are about twenty or so files for each part of the polygon (eyes, eyelashes, pants, etc). I removed the gold bracelets from the arm since they were giving me trouble, so I was wondering, if I delete the bracelet, do I still need to load the texture it was associated with? (In this case, it was called "gold_bracelet.png" or something to that effect). I have tried CI8. RGB565 and RGB5A3 formats with little to no success. The only one that Brawl loaded was CI8. but the textures were wrong (purple/white stripes), simply because I need to find out which format is the right one. Once I do, the game will stop freezing. To sum up, do I need to load/import ALL the .png texture files, even if Brawl Box doesn't show the parts of the polygon I deleted (the bracelets) in 3DS Studio Max? There's no way to import them all at once and change the format is there (as opposed to individually changing the format)?

What needs to happen, randomizer, is to completely remap the model to reduce the number of textures.

Crap, I don't know how to do that. I suck at anything besides rigging and T-posing. Anything pertaining to UV mapping or re-texturing is something I have no skills in. I will undoubtedly need outside help. Not to mention I'll have to re-rig the bloody model. Crap, crap, crap.

I don't think rerigging the entire model is component to remapping the textures, dude.

The lack of people elaborating just HOW exactly I'm to remap is starting to bug me.  Again, it will be a cold day in Hell before I spend the time to re-rig an already rigged model.
