How to Port Characters

I was wondering about how you can port characters...
I know LCCoolJ95, PichuBrawler, and some other porters can port really well but they never post a tutorial video. I heard that PichuBrawler is having trouble with the FS not working on some ports. Well.. if he or LCCoolJ95 posts a youtube tutorial or posts a thread... please post a link so i can take a look. I mean seriously guys come on.... Its not that secret to port.... and using Almas codes is like not working for me... It has a lot of glitches when I port Knuckles to Olimar with Almas codes.

not all ports work. the knuckles wouldnt work because it uses artciles.

if im corret you use an .rel and just edit the .rel and the FitXXX so like lucario over diddy they edited the .rel and the (for example) NB and made it a gfx instead of an article

i think thats how its done but since im not a porter im not completly sure

only marth, ike, purin, adn mk can have ported .rels atm. and not all ports use .rels.

How do you edit an .rel?

And also... Question: I ported Roy over Diddy and i replaced FitDiddyEntry.pac (the mld0 file) to WpnMarioDokan.mld0 so that i wont use that No Entry Data code. But what do i do with the results one? It keeps freezing.
