yeah, I don't think it would suit Luffy well in a fighting game.

Balloon Counter:

Luffy takes the hit, then explodes with the fireworks body. Its easy to PSA cause Marth comes with a Counter already. :D I ssaw a video where he reflected a cannon ball doing this. And its a lot more fair then stunning people with a shout and you don't have to worry about the balance of it.

If you don't like that... then pinwheel would be nice here as well. From the video of him fighting Arlong (shark guy) he stuck his fee into the ground  then twisted up, and spun around. Its stationary and would be a cool move overall. But I prefer the counter.


Also, on a side note: The actual move, Hanabi is will probably use the fireworks AND the gattling poly's... and I figured out a cool way to do it. I was frustrated earlier ccause I was at a .. but that was because I hadn't slept. I've got my zzzz's in and I can think straight now.

I'd say ballon, but that will take a model edit, maybe I can mess around and see if I can get a vertex morph for Luffy to work, but Haki wouldnt be unbalanced. It'd need a damage ratio and a charge up to work. On the note of Luffy

Have you seen balloon? The fireworks is for the illusion of really fast spining. Balloon Luffy puffs up his body and doesn't turn into a big blue and red mess. Trust me on this one

The idea I had in my mind might work. I could scale the fireworks body up gradually (still at a fast pace, to where it looked like Luffy exploded into it. it would push the opponent back.

I'll do it... show you... then you can decide. :D

I just don't like Haki...

Naw I've decided. We can do Balloon, but I want a new model for it. If I can make it use vertex morphs it'll be plain and simple and look nice
