I want to do REAL kirby hats too, so I purrsent to you: this topic.
I will need someone with max to help me, and someone who has a kirby's return to dreamland iso (but DO NOT send me anything, I'll do it so nobody gets hurt and you don't send me the ORIGINAL files)
If mods want, I'll take out the iso purrt, but kc-mm will have nothing to do with it if i don't.
here's my current character list:
KEY:
? = maybe
blue = done
anything else in progress or not started
pit: cupid?
link/toon link: ???
marth: sword
bowser/charizard: fire?
ness: plasma
dedede: either a KIRBY hat or nothing
ike: fire sword
lucas: ice?
donkey kong: fighter?
metaknight: tornado
rob: laser
gun people: ???
snake: bomb
rest are unknown
please tail me if you are either of the above and want to join. this is not in the request furum since I can do a number by myself.

I know for a fact that the vast majority of the public here cares more about free products than actual quality. I mean, we're kinda modding an old Wii game after like 6 years, instead of buying new stuff. That's pretty telling.  |

Actually, if you guys could import some hats over the regular stock Kirby models, I'd be pretty psyched. Plasma/Ice Kirby over Fit02/03 respectively.
Kirby character hats are nice and all, but maybe we ought to try them over the character before the abilities, as a proof of concept. I'm fairly certain the character ability hats will have more bugs to fix. Just my 2 cents.

Unless sombody helps out, I'm just doing the kirby hats I can over people's khats.
and so far I've almost have done 2, no glitches that wouldn't have happened over kirby.
I've been busy with other hacks though.
you could port them to kirby if you want, and some already have almost no edits needed to go on kirby's slots.
