Meh... it's okay, If you could make the face less blocky and change the sword up a bit, it would be better. I say make the sword rainbow, half red - half blue, or just Neon blue.

It's very difficult to make 'em look non-pixelated,because you must draw the face in a very little zone of the body |

Well I see you took my advice about the dual colored sword...now try to get rid of the rest of the gold on the sword.

I looks okay for a first (I think you said first didnt you?) but you could make the wings and the face way less blocky, especially the circles of the wings.
