    because sonic is an odd one. He has bones for his eyelid and all of his different facial expresions (notice how he has 3 eyebrow things lol)

    PLUS, If a character model on him DOESN'T have the ball, then the game crashes  not impressed
    and you can't import Bones, and I tried switching polygons, It didn't work 
    BUT when we CAN import bones, it WILL work  Happy Face
