Why is ZSS/Wario-Man Returns As Wario crashing my SSBB game?

Oook I seriously don't get it. Can you please help me with this if you can?? There's two problems I am having with certain characters I am trying to texture hack.

Problem #1: How come Zero Suit Samus crashes the game whenever Samus tries to transform into the zero suit form with any hack textures for her? I am using textures for ZSS that I made or some I downloaded, but every time I try to become her the game would crash. WHY?

Problem #2: I also got textures made for Wario and Wario-Man. Ok get this, when I play as Wario, then become Wario-Man in Final Smash but when I return as Wario--the game crashes??? This is bad. >_<

- Details on what I got -
my Wii is Ver. 4.2U
Homebrew 1.06 (IOS61 v21.29)
SSBB (USA - RSBE)
Gecko OS - 1.07b, but now I am using 1.9.3.1

Also I got every file named right like the ISO and inserted into the right paths.

I once renamed ZSS' files to be Samus on PAC/PCS, which was for me to check just to see if the model/my texture is going to work as a test and it did, it's strange it won't work in that ZSS folder and just make the game crash...odd. 

I tried to see if the newer Gecko would do any good but it is still the same result. <=3
And now I just tried while it was hacked with other Samus clothing without the PAC/PCS which worked and got to be ZSS but when I am doing the one with those files it's still gonna crash... :O
How can anyone make ZSS work on their games but I can't? Either I am doing something wrong OR it's my Wii that's acting wrong or something... =/

Every character I got does work very well but I am just wondering why Wario-Man returning as Wario crashes w/hack textures and especially Samus transforming to ZSS crashes w/hack textures...

Do you know what's making the game tick like this? lol. Many thanks to those that can help, this can help others too who is experiencing the same problem right now too.

For ZSS, it sounds like the pcs/pac is the problem. Does ZSS freeze the game when you try to start a match as her via holding shield? Try re-saving them in Brawlbox.

As for Wario, I'm not sure what the problem is here.

Did you make sure that the PAC files are decompressed?  If they're compressed, your game WILL crash.

Well about ZSS, when I am as Samus--I would get the FS and try to become ZSS it crashes. Even if I do the taunt during battle to transform is the samething...

Huh, never thought about the one with the shield you mentioned, never tried that yet. I just tried it now and... O_O I am as her now! Wow. Huh. At least that one about the shield trick works so I can be her. =/ Strange, it seems like I can play as ZSS w/textures if I do the shield trick but it will crash if I try to use Samus' FS or taunt. That is so crazy.

Thanks for helping me solve one bit of this problem to make playing ZSS hacked possible. XD Although doing FS or taunt to be her is still a problem. And I am not sure if re-saving could help it, I will try that one again 3 more times with the texture I made.

Did you make sure that the PAC files are decompressed?  If they're compressed, your game WILL crash.

Decompressed? Oh my gosh, I better check that out. Thanks for the tip, I will make sure these textures are not compressed.

***EDIT: Oh wow it worked! You solved my problem, thank you! You are right, it did had to do with the Pac file having compression on it, I set None on it which is decompression and it fixed BOTH my ZSS & Wario/Wario-Man problem. Thanks a ton. ^.^ ***

No problem.  You just need to make sure that before saving the PAC file that you set the compression setting to "None".  Of course, some PACs do need to be compressed, but that tends to only apply to the menu files.

Yeah. Thanks again. XD Let's just hope other hackers can find this page and see that their PAC file might be compressed as the problem. For now on I will make sure and check that they are decompressed. The topic can be lock now at anytime since it's done.
