I have purchased an official Super Smash Brothers Brawl disc recently but it does not read in my wii.
Even when I have taken out the SD card it still does not work...
My wii is System 4.3U and other games work. Even gamecube games.

Could it be that my Wii doesn't read dual-layered discs? How can I fix this? I already tried using the Wii Lense Cleaner

Any help is appreciated!

    i have teh saem problem, so i use ISO's. when did you get your wii? if you got it on launch or ne it (i got mien on launch) then teh dual layer reader msot likely is dead

    probably this. unfortunatly, to my understanding, you can't.

    I just bought the original Brawl disc yesterday, should I refund it and get an iSO single layered one?

    It might be the disc. That is the only problem it should be. Try cleaning the disc.
