Need help putting Scott Pilgrim into Brawl.

Does anybody know why it freezes when I select Lucas? I replaced his files with Scott's, everything seems fine up until I select him from the character selection screen. Once I do so, after a while the music stops playing and when I press start to show the stage selection screen the game is frozen.

I tried to quickly select Lucas and then select the stage but it would freeze once I selected the stage. :/

Do other hacks work fine?

Haha, yeah. I got it to work. Being the idiot I am I didn't put the file replacement code in so that's probably why it's freezing. Thanks for all the help guys, I really appreciate it.

He still shows up as Lucas in the character selection screen and stuff but that's probably because I didn't use Brawl Box or something. But whatever, at least I'm playing as him. :]

im haveing similar problems and i never put in the replacement codes, every1 just tells me to use the file patch codes and this never crossed my mind (im like a beginner that started a couple days ago)
