Are there any custom strap loader tutorials out there? I've been looking for a while and had no luck. It seems like it would be easy, I just don't know where to start. Any help is always appreciated.

Editing the strap loader isn't really hard. First, you need to get the file from somewhere, you could edit someone elses to get the file, or just take it from the SSBB ISO. If you get it from the ISO, it is located in "Partition 2/menu/strap/StrapEn.pac, And if you get it from someone elses....well you can find them around this forum. Edit the file like you would a character texture file, then re-instert into your ISO, or if your using the SD loader method, put it in "private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/menu/strap/StrapEn.pac"

Download the Strap of your region (StrapEn, I'm assuming)

    Go here: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=238861
    Get Brawlbox

Open the pac with brawlbox. Extract whatever textures from it you need. Edit the texture(s) (brawlbox will save them in png format)  however you want. Replace the textures after you're done. Save.

All brawl files mediafire archive(NTSC-U): http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=bf68243dc4c908b28d78a0e5552916095d6170349cac00195be6ba49b5870170#

For some reason I don't have "Strap"  in partition 2/menu/ and also I don't know which files to edit in Brawl Box. Can anybody help me?
Yes, you should find it with WiiScruber in the menu "Partition 2-Data" then "Menu", "strap" and there are like 4 archives. Just exctract one depending on your Wii's language configuration.

And, does anybody knows why a modified strap.pac freezes the game when using a Disc instead of the SD card???
