*ONLY FOR WII SYSTEM 4.3*
Okay! First things first. Go to your wii home menu, and click "Wii Options"
Before we do anything else, look in the top right corner of the screen. it should say something like "Version 4.3U" Remember this.
Once inside, click the Right arrow ( > ) and click "Internet" (your wii does not have to be connected to the internet)
Once inside "internet" click "Console Information"
Then it should look like this:
Right this number down on a piece of paper, and go to this website
After clicking this link, your page should look like this:
Enter the number that you wrote down, and the "version 4.3U" or whatever yours says at the top. enter the Captcha, and click Cut the blue wire.
Now, go to your wii and click messages.
You should see a letter that looks like this under either "Yesterday" or "today" :
Click on in and then it should look somewhat like this :
Then it should look like this :
Then it should look like this. Click "Install homebrew channel"
The homebrew channel should install, then you need to find an SD card, and put it into your computer.
DOWNLOAD THIS FILE INTO YOUR SD CARD (When you start the download on mediafire , click "Save as" and click on your SD card, and save it there) NOW RIGHT CLICK THE FILE AND CLICK "EXTRACT HERE"
And leave it as is. (11/9/13) Edit: this download does not work anymore on account of my mediafire account being locked. sorry for the inconvenience. I will put up a new download soon.

Once you have downloaded and extracted it should look like this:
After you have downloaded the file and extracted it in the SD card, eject the SD card and put it in your Wii.
Click on the Homebrew Channel and click "GeckoOS"
Once inside GeckoOS, click "Load"
Once all the way inside GeckOS click "Launch Game"
and the game should launch and your hacks are ready(:

This is very helpful for newbies.  you should add how to add spoilers... many newbies doesnt know how. (not for lol... its true ) >_> Btw really good tut. I also didnt know how to use bannerbomb lol |

Even though I'm not new, I can say this tutorial looks nice and appealing. Easy to read text in a color that's easy on the eyes. And pictures are great as well. But I suggest you put those pictures in Spoilers. It helps reduce "clutter" on posts that use multiple images.

Same, I used banner bomb and though it was easy after getting started no one linked to the files. Plus I had to manually set the file structure. What ever happened to Brawl Plus? They used to have a file like that but the download wasn't there when I needed it.  |

Ok I understand the steps, but what's giving me problems is whether or not I can do it from my laptop. I went to the web link, put my infor in and it said "The LetterBomb.zip download has completed." My options are open with an arrow, open folder and view downloads. What do I do?
